I run an Asus WL-500GP v1 with an Atheros mini-PCI card for it's 802.11a capability. Is anyone working on a version of Tomato that will support Atheros wifi, perhaps using the madwifi driver utilized in openwrt? Without a tutorial, I am afraid it is beyond the scope of my knowledge/experience. I would be surprised if some clever person is not working on it, however. Just putting it out for comment.

Yeah, i would be interested in that answer too. I have an Atheros miniPCI wifi card lying around from an old notebook, and i guess it would be able to cooperate better with the Atheros based wifi card in my PC (using features like eXtended Range, etc). As far as i understand adding Atheros Wifi support isnt the same as adding support for the atheros cpus, so it shouldnt be such extreme effort to make it happen... Or?
