    Hi Everyone
    Im new to this forum
Today i bought a Asus WL-520GU Wireless router with 1 USB 2.0 Port
and successfully installed Tomato firmware(teddy bear mod 1.27) tomato-NDUSB-8742-Lite

Now What i need is I want to download torrent and direct links(rapidshare, http etc)
with this router I found (transmission for torrent and slimrat for rapidshare)

As i'm a noob in this section, i searched in the internet and found out that
by installing optware this can be done.
    So here are my problems
1)Do i have to really format the drive to ext2 or ext3 Or can i use FAT32 or ntfs
    2) If i format that to ext2 or ext3 will it be possible to access as a NAS from windows without any software
    3) Is it possible to allocate SWAP space in hard disk as used in linus so i can get SWAP space because this router has only 16mb RAM

    Please Help me guys
    Thank You

    1) If it's a usb flash drive then format it as ext2, if it's a usb hard drive then use ext3. You could probably use fat32/NTFS but it's highly recommended to use a Linux native file system.

2)Yes,you can access it with no problem. It's only if you plug it directly to a Windows machine it won't be able to read the file system.

3)Swap space you allocate on the actual drive as a small partition for the router to use as extra ram.
