The question really is that simple My family pays for 512kbps network connection. I'd like to buy 2Mbps, pay the difference and get the difference. I mean, when I'm not there I'm fine with them using whole width, but when I need to download something, I should be guaranteed to get what I paid for, 1.5Mbps that is. Of course in both "parts" of a connection voip should get higher priority than downloads, and p2p should be at the lowest. What combination of router and firmware should I choose, to get the job done in as easy and as cheap as possible way? Now I'm completely lost.
