I had problems with my ATT DSL connection and called ATT. ATT rebuilt the line and I still have connection issues. However, they claim the issue is on my end and want an arm and a aleg to tell me how to configure my connection because I refuse to use the faulty offical Motorola modem. So I decided to reset my modem(Actiontec GT724R) and router (E2000 with latest Toastman build of TomatoUSB) and reconfigure the transparent bridge. So from a default state, I log in to the Modem's IP and choose PPoE and enter my username and password. No problem, everything works great with out the router. Now I select transparent bridge, and hook up the router. Now I should be able to access the modem IP, right? Well instead windows claims there is an IP conflict. I have done these steps several times before, and it worked fine, but not this time. Can any one tell me where I am going wrong? Sent from my DROID 2 Global
smethrony, thanks for the reply. I actually resolved the issue by assigning a static IP address to my PC. Then I was able to connect to the router.
