Triggered Port Forwarding question

    As per the gui Trigger Ports are the initial LAN to WAN "trigger"....can I use an external WAN port to trigger the port forward from WAN to LAN?

    What I want to do is remotely (via internet) trigger an off port to open the port I want to access the LAN for a short period of time.

    If I can I would like to use the "Triggered Port Forwarding" front end to manage this instead of using scripts.

    What you describe is a method called "port knocking", see here...
