okay i had one buffalo whr-hp-g54 running tomato which didnt quite reach a couple of rooms in the house so I bought another one and put Tomato on it to try WDS or Bridge mode... well its alot more confusing than I though it would be

Whats the difference between "Access Point+WDS", "WDS", and "Wireless Ethernet Bridge" modes? I am not sure which settings to use on both routers... any help?

From what I gather a bridge will give you better performance... but then how does the secondary router apply the WEP/WPA settings from the primary router?

And then when I try to use WDS mode, I am not sure on whether to link with the LAN MAC ID or the Wireless MAC ID (when you goto "Overview")

I am just completely lost as to what to do

If you would stop creating a new screen name for every question you ask, and read the FAQ a little bit, you would be much further ahead.
