yeah. i'm so happy that the work is still in progress ;)
Meanwhile I've tried to compile the sources with no luck at all on compiling xgcc. I will try to compile with previous versions of gcc (4.1.2 or even 3.x), hope it will work

BTW i will try to make a complete howto for USB+Optware on the weekend

    Hi

I can not change MTU value.

When I change it in WAN / Internet it remains unchanged in tatus\Overview with 1458.

    my connection type is PPPoE.

    how can I change it?

I noticed there must be a huge memory-leak in this version.

    1. look at the free RAM space
    2. open the VPN page
    3. look at the free RAM space

I have memory loss of about 50%
    And that WITHOUT enabling VPN

I responded in the other thread, but it looks like that memory is being cached, not leaked. My understanding is that memory would be reclaimed when needed.

Thank for your info, I'll try it. I have a few questions:

    1. Does usb support only work on TrzepakoTomato or it can work on other version?
    2. If I use flash disk, should I create two partition or I can use one partition only. I use Windows as the OS, can I format it under windows

Can the usb storage function be operated together with usb printing function? I have tried using usb printing function using this tutorial: http://www.jamdev.co.uk/wiki/Linux/Tomato, but the p910nd driver didn't recognized my printer (HP PSC1410). What's the command in tomato to update this driver? (In dd-wrt, I could use 'ipkg update' command)

Does this mean every time my router is started up, it will install the Optware again and again?

Last but not least, I don't know how to access the usb flash disk or flash driver from the network. Please give me some information about that :)

    Thanks

AFAIK Trzepako is the only tmato mod with built-in usb support

    >2. If I use flash disk, should I create two partition or I can use one partition only. I use Windows as the OS, can I format it under windows
sure you can. but if you intend to use optware its better to have some swap (i have 100mb). you can either create a swap partition or create a swap file on your flash drive. also don't forget about inode size (-I 128), coz by default the filesystem is created with inode size 256 and this doesn't work with tomato (and other firmwares)

    >Can the usb storage function be operated together with usb printing function?
I cant say much about this as never tried to configure printer on my asus. but originaly tomato was not intended to work with usb and ipkg, unlike dd-wrt. so some operations may be easy to do on dd-wrt and tricky on tomato.

    >Does this mean every time my router is started up, it will install the Optware again and again?
nope. you just need to install it once. next time just mount the corresponding opt folder from you flash drive to /opt and optware is working.

Last but not least, I don't know how to access the usb flash disk or flash driver from the network. Please give me some information about that :)
you need to install and configure samba form optware. but be aware that usb speed low and networking is lower than that )

Hi, is it a script to redirect someone into specific website before they go online?
If it is so. Then it's cool.. Does it mean that I can specify a message so that a client can read it before they go online? Thanks

I was thinking that it's a script to do a load balancing between 2 gateway/WAN
    Am I right?
If it's right then it's what I'm looking for?!...
I really want to test 2 gateways running on tomato as a load balancer... and see both gateway are balance (let say download big files with download manager) and see that both gateway's bandwidth are used...
