This thread talked about pop out the mini PCI from a dead WRT54G and put it into a old notebook to turn the notebook to 802.11g.

Has anyone tried the reverse? I have a mini PCI 802.11g from a spoilt Toshiba notebook and I have a BEFW11S4 wireless router. I am not sure whether the BEFW11S4 uses mini PCI. Could I pop open the BEFW11S4 and replace the wireless adapter with the 802.11g mini PCI?
