Two WAG200G problems...

    Hi guys,

    I got a WAG200G for my girlfriend so she could go wireless in her house. It works well for most purposes, but I've encountered 2 irritating problems so far:

    - Remote administration does not work. Attempting to connect simply presents me with a blank screen in Firefox and a "this page cannot be displayed" in IE.

    - If I try to connect to my home PPTP VPN (served by a WRT54G with hyperwrt) from my girlfriends house, it disconnects after exactly 32 seconds every time. This happens whether I'm using my laptop or hers (both XP home with all the updates). It works fine from wherever else I am...

    As soon as I set up the WAG200G I updated the firmware to the latest (1.1.0.5).

    Anyone got any ideas for me? It's driving me insane!

    Try to setup remote administration on port 443 (https), it works.

    I'm so sorry but the latest version of WAG200G firmware it's 1.01.09 (I suggest the telnet mod version) and not 1.1.0.5.

    Then please first of all upgrade the firmware at last vesrion.
    Then check the settings of your WAG200G and post it.
    Then check the log to verify the disconnection reason.
