    Hi !

I have two BEFSX41 routers and two WAN connections: one DSL with static IP address and one cable modem.

I use the DSL static IP connection to make a VPN, I have information in one computer that I want to be able to see from the VPN but also from the other local network computers
The problem is that the DSL is a really slow connection. So I would like to find somehow to use the DSL line for the VPN, and use the cable modem for internet connection and email.

Is it possible to do this with two routers, or I must buy a dual wan router? Even like this, the dual wan router will work with a sttic address (keeping the VPN active) and a cable modem?

In one side of the VPN I have 8 PC's and in the other 7 PC's, all running Windows XP and PTP networks

    Any advice will be appreciated

    Joan

A dual WAN router would be the easiest/most reliable solution.

I don't know what country your from, but over here in the UK the upload speed is always considerably slower than the download. This is the most likely cause of the slow VPN.
