UI issue with IE 6 and Tomato

I just wanted to see if anyone can confirm this problem before I report it to Tofu.

I created a CIFS mount point for use with Tomato 0.5. The share is mounted and is working properly, however . . .

When I go to the "Administration | CIFS Client" page on the router, all the fields are empty if I am using IE 6. When I go to the same page using Firefox, the configuration fields are filled in properly.

I first noticed this when accessing the router remotely from work, where I must use IE 6 since our Intranet pages don't render properly in Firefox.

    Can someone else confirm this?

    with Firefox everything works perfect,
with Internet Explorer v.6.0 the fields are empty!

...but i don't care! I HATE the internet explorer... :D

    (firefox rulez!)

    Thanks for the confirmation :)

I imagine that Tofu cares though. Like it or not, IE is the majority of the market.

But is IE really the most used by people that flashes their routers with custom firmwares? I am not so sure about that.

IE isn't web browser ;) so it's no wonder that something doesn't work.
But seriously it isn't Tofu fault just IE incompatibility (they don't care about standards). Best for use with Tomato is Opera 9.02, she's working like a charm. FF is good too.

Just to close out the thread, Tofu has told me that this is fixed in the next version of Tomato.

the fields also show as empty in IE7 RC1. however you can still tell it's mounted correctly since it tells you the total volume size and the available space. just a minor annoyance.
