I am using Linksys WRT54G2 router at my home. When i try to connect to my VPN wirelessly on my laptop which have Windows 7,it first verifies my username and password and then after a while give me an error saying 'Error 619:A connection to the remote computer could not be established. So the port opened has been closed'.

Where as when i directly plug in my internet cable into my laptop it got connected successfully.

For my Firewall and VPN i am having following default settings on linksys:

    Block Anonymous Internet Requests -Checked
    Filter Multicast -Checked
    Filter Internet NAT Redirection -Unchecked
    Filter IDENT(Port 113) -Checked

    IPSec Passthrough: Enable
    PPTP Passthrough: Enable
    L2TP Passthrough: Enable

Can someone please guide. Its really urgent.

You should check your packet loss. A VPN connection will terminated if it loses a fixed percentage of the packets. Your VPN client should have a packet loss monitor. There may be networks around you on your channel or overlapping channels, or 2.4Ghz telephones in your house the would ause you to drop packets. Try changing the channel from the default six to one or eleven. Move your router higher and if you have any 2.4Ghz telephones change them to a 5Ghz telephone.
