I have just bought a WPS54G and cannot connect with my WRT300n using Wireless.

    The WPS54G's configuration is :

    SSID : Like WRT300n (Cut/paste)
    Canal Number : Auto
    Netwotk Type : Infrastructure

    Security Mode : WEP-128bit
    Key1 : Like WRT300n (Cut/Paste)

Static IP Address : Same subnet like WRT300n

    The Firmware version is 6048.

    The WRT300n's configuration is :

    Network Mode: Mixed
Network Name (SSID): Like WPS54G (Cut/Paste)
Radio Band: Wide - 40MHz Channel
    Wide Channel: 6
    Standard Channel: 4 - 2,427GHz
    Wireless SSID Broadcast: Disable

    Security Mode : WEP
    Key1 : Like WPS54G (Cut/Paste)

Advanced Wireless Settings : Default settings for all parameters

    The Firmware version is 2.00.08.

Has somebody already encountered this problem ?

    Thank you.

I would enable SSID broadcast. In addiition, you should not be in mixed mode unless you have 802.11B wireless NICs. Did you disconnect the WPS54G from its Ethernet cable and power cycle it. It does not support wired and wireless connections at the same time.
