    Hi,
R u using win xp sp2 or sp3, disable the firewall on the both win xp pc's.
because linksys itself has inbuild firewall in security tab.

first do this on command prompt: it will work on sp2 but u can try on sp3 also i m not sure of that. let me also tel u that sp3 cant take ip form router there is some problem of option43 releated to microsoft.

type 1st: netsh int ip reset log.txt--hit enter.after this type fellow command.
type 2nd: netsh winsock reset catalog--hit enter.

check whether the device has latest firmware version. U will find it on the setup page top right hand cornor.

I m giving u link to download the firmware form linksys website.
but you need to select the version number in it and you will get the version no of WRT54G if u flip the device upside down under the linksys logo u will.
only select the correct version on linksys website.

    http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Sate...rapper&lid=3740141396B08&displaypage=download

after upgade the firmware it should work
if any problem let me know.
    regards
    tejinder
