After believing my Router was Bricked... Power led flashed all the time.. I tried one more step.. I downloaded the TFTP program under downloads to the left under network utilities... Even though I could not ping my router.. I now have it reflashed with Linksys firmware and just completed upgrading to DD-WRT v24 latest beta... Same as it was before it died...
My question the logo button on front used to glow orange... Now it is off.. If I press it it momentarily turns blue... What does it doa nd how can I get it back to what it was.. It was orange with the Linksys firmware just after fixing and with dd-wrt before it crashed...

    Thanks Jerry

did you reset the firmware back to factory defaults once you upgraded?

Yes in all three instances... The reviving flash using the TFTP program... and the DDWRT V24 Mini and the std... all has rest to defaults turned on.. Do I need to rest one more time and try again.??

    Thanks Jerry

Just tried factory defaults again.. No Chnage.. Everything seems to work however... Whst does the orange condition indicate? I forget... I think it meant it was working ok.. ???

    Thanks Jerry

I think they put a setting in v24 giving you the option of using the SES button to turn radio on and off. I know v23 SP2 has it. When radio is active the button glows orange, when radio is disabled there is no light.

Thansk.. Tried that no go.. Still out.. Only lites blue when pressed and then goes out when releases.. Must be something wrong..

Hi .. Figured it all out...

With Linksys firmware it is orange whenever the power is on...
With DDWRT it is on only when actively connetced to the internet thru a router...

Mine is used as an AP and not connected to a router..

    Thanks Jerry
