Unstable Wireless Asus RT-N16

I'm running teddy_bear's latest on an Asus RT-N16. The wireless connection keeps dropping, on both my wife's MacBook and my Thinkpad (this rules out operating system). I have the firmware set to WMM - Enabled (no N speed if it's disabled), Bluetooth Coexistance - Enabled (I have a PS3), and it's set to the USA, and a default 42 mW. Keeps crashing, over and over, whether or not I am putting any kind of load on the connection. I'd like to keep using Tomato, but it's basically useless to me if I can't maintain a connection. Any ideas?

I don't think a new thread is needed for a common issue discussed over and over here: "Tomato with kernel 2.6 (Asus RT-N16 support)".

All possible - known at the moment - answers to your questions are already in that thread.
