Updating Dyndns.org host record

I flashed my WRT54GS recently to v2.3sp1. I noticed that the DDNS option in the WebGUI works only if the router is connected directly to the Internet. Not so in my case, because its located in the NAT IP address space (192.168.1.x).

I can obtain the WAN IP by wget-ting to checkip.dyndns.org, but how do I update this IP to my own dyndns.org record? I tried the following from the command-line, but I got "authorization required" error:

    wget -O /dev/null http://USER:PASSWD@members.dyndns.org/nic/update?hostname=abc.dyndns.org&myip=

I hope to do it via a cron job.

    Thanks for help,
