Does anyone know if it's possible to just update Shibby's Tomato firmware on an RT-N16 via the "upgrade" option, or do I need to completely reflash it from scratch?
    Thanks!

You can update from earlier build from web gui. But it depends what build you update from.
It's always recomended to do NVRAM reset before and after flash and reconfigure by HAND,
don't use saved config file. Se my sign for restoring configuration.

I tried to upgrade shibbys Tomato Firmware 1.28.0000 MIPSR2-110 K26 USB BT-VPN to latest build 114 on my Belkin F7D3302 which was seemingly successful, but the router did not reboot completely. And now I am stuck up with inaccessible router with stable green led when turned on. Unable to reset/telnet/ping.

    Please help.

This has been reported for the Belkin routers..

Boot into the CFE, load the mini .bin image, then reload 112 or prior.

    Hi jerrm !

Thanks for your reply. Could you please elaborate it a bit. Perhaps you could give me some links where it is described detailly how to do it. Thank you for the help.
