Upgrade from 2027 to 2044 fails

    Hi all,

Just upgraded from firmware version 2027 to 2044 and have nothing but problems.

I used the provided upgrade utility to avoid human error and after two or three clicks and providing the password, I was presented with a nice 'Congratulations' screen.
Reset the configuration, login into the router and remodify the settings.

Suddenly the connection to the router is lost... Strange.... No matter what I try, I cannot reconnect. Hmm.. powercycle everything. Same problems occur. The "funny" thing is that although I changed my password, the changes apparently hadn't been saved. No matter what I try, I cannot connect to the internet (PPPoE) and I keep losing my connection to the router. Reinstall the firmware using the utility leads to the same results.

Voila, I am left with a non-working router and am looking for solutions. Do I need to downgrade? Another firmware?

    Any help appreciated!
