Excuse me if this is a basic question, but could someone either point me to a FAQ or provide instructions on the procedure to update the firmware on the WPS54G? I've downloaded the zip file for 4047 and now would like to apply it.

First unzip the file to a folder. You then have two options, but first connect the WPS54G to your network via a wired Ethernet connection and power cycle it. You can use the Bi-admin management utility or the web access. To use the bi-admin management utility, start the applciation and after the printserver appears. select it and select the "main" option on the menu bar. You will be prompted for your password, which you should have changed fron the default value of "admin". A screen will appear with your NIC on your computer. Select the one you are using to connect to your router. A message box will appear, indication the firmware version that is now on the printserver and select the "files" control button and browse for the folder your firmware has been unzipped to. Select the firmware ans click the "upgrade" control button. The upgrade should start and wait thirty seconds after it has completed. An okay control button should appears, click it. :p . You can use the web access, you have to enter the IP address of the printserver. The firmware upgrade is under the "help" on the menu bar. The upgrade steps are about the same, so I will not repeat them.
