I currently have DD-WRT v23 (12/25/05) firmware installed on my wrt54g, would it be safe to upgrade to v23 SP1 without resetting to factory settings? I know it is recommended to always reset, but is there much difference in the way these two firmwares store their settings?

I know I am being lazy, but if anyone out there knows you'd save me some time :)

if the built date is within coupld days, you can do a straight upgrade; otherwise, rule of thumbs is

    - reset factory default, upgrade firmware, reset factory default

Looks like your built date is about 7 months old. There is v23 SP1 service pack 1 and v24 support multiple SSID or virtual wireless
