UPNP issues seem to be only with the Azureus client.

UPNP and Bitcomet .60 works. When the listener port is properly forwarded, Bitcomet will show a mix of local and remote connections. If the listener port is not properly forwarded, Bitcomet will only show local connections. After each test the router was reset to defaults.

    1. UPNP disabled. No ports manually forwarded. Bitcomet shows all local connections. UPNP forwarding page is empty. This is correct.

    2. UPNP disabled. Listen port manually forwarded. Bitcomet shows a mix of local and remote. UPNP forwarding page is empty. This is correct.

    3. UPNP enabled. No ports manually forwarded. Bitcomet shows a mix of local and remote. UPUP forwarding page lists the listener port correctly. This is correct.

For those of you having UPNP problems, I'd suggest testing Bitcomet. Added benefit of Bitcomet is it will encrypt your connections thus bypassing any ISP throttling. Rogers does throttling in some areas.

PS Get the .60. There are fake 1.00 and 1.01 clients out there.

I do not think so. uPnP even crashes with just the windows built-in interface (Network Conn->Internet Connection->Properties)

I just tried BitComet .60 with today's release of DD-WRT MINI, but it too crashed UPnP continuously.

    did you:
1 - hard reset to firmware defaults (i'm sure you did, just asking)
2 - set contrack limit to 2056 or higher
3 - shorten timeout for UDP to 120?

these have all been mentioned as 'partial' fixes before...

    Where can I find those???

    EDIT: That did absolutely nothing.

There is also the fact that it worked fine in DD-WRT v22 and does not work the same in v23. This indicates a change in DD-WRT that is not compatible.

    sorry...

i banned all torrents / p2p from my house, so I was just repeating what I'd read.

FYI: Strangely, MSN Messenger and pulver.Communicator do not crash UPnP.

I'm using bitcomet 0.60 now for 1 yr now (maybe longer), but i got still the problem when having bitcomet open and the router's running for 4-5 hours uptime, i have to reboot the router (with dd-wrt v23b2 04.11), otherwise there's no internet available anymore.

What are the best settings for bitcomet? I've these settings now:
    max connections/task: 20,
    max half-open tcp connections: 50

With 6 open torrents running, there are around 770sockets (?) open, 104 peers and 88 established connections.

I hope anyone could help. I love this firmware, and i don't want to go back to the original linksys-firmware
