First off, love the forums. Been very helpful in getting my 54G v4.20.7 up and running.

So I noticed that under Website Blocking by URL Address, I'm allowed up to 4 URL's. Is there a hack for this to allow more? A firmware upgrade?

Forgive me if I can't find the post for it. I've searched around here and the Net already looking for help with this to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

anybody have any info on this, I'd like to know as well.

or does anybody know of any hardware that can be added to the network that does the same thing, I've had problems with software firewalls and like how LINKSYS has the access restrictions.

would really like to expand on that option

HyperWRT Thibor 13d has 20 fields for website blocking, and I think Tofu does as well. I think that can be pretty much infinite if you want to write your own script into the firewall, which is also an available option in HypwerWRT Tofu and Thibor both.

how do you write a script, do you have a website handy that will explain how to do that.

I just added the HyperWRT to my router and saw that it has firewall scripting but I don't know how to use it.

also I have a WRT54G v.1 or 3 router do you have a link to the thibor 13d?

    thank you for the help

Look around for "iptables". There are a few script examples. There's also a discussion of it at http://www.hyperwrt.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=1029

Thibor is officially supported only for the "GS" routers. You can run it on most "G" and all "GL" routers with a workaround of loading DD-WRT or Tofu first, but it's not supported on anything but "GS". I'm fairly certain it will NOT run on the "G" V1 units. I have it running just fine on my "G" V4.

Tofu (for the "G" and "GL") is here:
