What sort of transfer rate can I get on an HD connected to the USB port?
    I have a sata/usb bridge with a 1Tb sata2 HD connected and tried both RT-N16 & 3500L. To cut a long story short I can't get anything more than 3.2 MByte/sec.
Initially I thought it could have been an USB 1.1/20 issue but on the usb config page only support for USB 2.0 has been enabled.

P.S. the data is coming from a NAS connected at 1Gb to the router itself.

    Perhaps I'm missing something...?

Those numbers are about right for FAT32. ext3 gets up to 5-10MByte/sec depending. It's not a speed demon.
