USB mouting problem on ASUS RT-N16

    Welcome everyone!

I just received my new ASUS RT-N16 router yesterday and immediately flashed it with ... DD-WRT. The GUI was slow and the internet speed was going crazy so I flashed it with Tomato.

So far so good except that I can not mount the external hard drive (LaCie) formatted in NTFS. I have read that there is support for NTFS so does anyone knows what might be the problem?

The message I get after clicking on "mount" is:

Failed to mount. Verify the device is plugged in and try again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Not enough info...

What firmware edition/version did you install?
Did you do the "thorough" nvram erase after installing Tomato? Do it now if you didn't, and then re-enter your settings manually.
Did you activate the USB and NTFS support in the GUI, and saved the settings?
What does the GUI say about the drive on the "USB and NAS" page in the "Attached Devices" section?
What does your system log show after you attach the drive, and then after you attempt to mount the drive?

Thank you for your reply. I solved the issue. The problem was that I asked my wife to format the drive and she did but she did not create a partition!

I used diskpart to create partition and format the drive and immediately everything started working.

Awesome firmware by the way. Thank you very much!
