I ran into a strange issue with Tomato USB printing with my Epson Stylus RX580. I have the 1.28 firmware installed. My RT-N16 router sees the printer just fine, I'm able to install the printer to my Windows 7 box just fine. When I send any print job to the printer, it starts printing, gets about 3/4 through the print job, stalls, and my printer status shows "error printing." It then continues printing, but spits out additional copies of the document afterwards, where the alignment is all off, and it overlaps lines. I have to delete the job and kill the printer to clear it out. The Tomato logs make it look like the job gets resent to the printer. The disconnect at the bottom is me deleting the job and powering off the printer to reset it: Apr 14 19:30:44 unknown user.info kernel: usblp0: USB Bidirectional printer dev 12 if 1 alt 0 proto 2 vid 0x04B8 pid 0x0827 Apr 14 19:30:44 unknown user.info kernel: usbcore: registered new interface driver usblp Apr 14 19:30:44 unknown user.info kernel: usblp: USB Printer Device Class driver Apr 14 19:31:01 unknown lpr.notice p9100d: Connection from ::ffff:192.168.1.176 port 60179 accepted Apr 14 19:31:11 unknown lpr.notice p9100d: Finished job: 679848 bytes received, 0 bytes sent Apr 14 19:31:21 unknown lpr.notice p9100d: Connection from ::ffff:192.168.1.176 port 60180 accepted Apr 14 19:31:25 unknown lpr.notice p9100d: Finished job: 685688 bytes received, 0 bytes sent Apr 14 19:31:47 unknown user.info kernel: usb 1-1: USB disconnect, address 12 The printer works fine when it is directly attached to my Windows 7 box, so I'm sure it isn't drivers or the printer itself. Any suggestions?
