My network was originally setup with a BEFSR41 router and a WAP54G v1.1 AP. I was able to pick up a WRT54GSv7 and it is now running as the router/AP for my entire network using WPA2/AES.

I would like to use the old WAP54G as a wireless networking adapter for my Xbox 360. TO do this, I know I need to setup the WAP as a wirelss repeater, but I guess my concern is getting to to work over WPA2/AES. Can I do this with any current Linksys firmware on the 1.1 versions?

If not, would I be able to accomplish this with dd-wrt, or other project firmware?

Anyone have any ideas on what I can do to use my old WAP to connect my Xbox? Thanks.
