Anybody know what the heck the user name is for access the Admin pannel?

Out of thye box, linksys doesnt specify one even in the documentation. Just the password, which you can change, but you cant specify user name.

It's not really a probelm in windows baccause you can just leave the box empty when it prompts you and just use passord.

But when Telneting I can't use a space, so therefore I can not telnet in.
    Help... busy day.

The user name is ignored... only the password is checked.

    Strange, I know..

If you telnet, username is "root" and password "admin" (unless you have changed the password that is...)

What is the username for SSH?

I've tried anonymous, root, administrator, and leaving it blank, and every time it kicks me out. Yes I have SSHD w/password login enabled, BTW.

With SSHD password enabled (or telnet):

    userid: root
passwd: <whatever you set your http password to>

Are you connecting from the LAN side or the WAN side?
