Using Tomato only as DHCP server and AP

My WRT54GL running Tomato 1.19.1464 is sitting behind my DSL Modem/router/switch. The DSL router has IP 192.168.2.2 and the WRT54GL has 192.168.2.1.

I do NOT want to use the built in DHCP server from the DSL router since it is not as configurable as that in the Tomato firmware.

The DSL router has a 4 port switch built into it. One port has the WRT54GL plugged into it (into a LAN port on the WRT54GL, not the WAN port). The other ports have a PC, a NAS and something else.

So what I would like to do is have the devices in the network use the Tomato DHCP server. I have disabled the WAN port of the WRT54GL and set the IP and gateway in the Tomato firmware by hand. IP is 192.168.2.1 and gateway is set to 192.168.2.2. I have also set the static DNS to 192.168.2.2.

My clients have no trouble pulling their info from the Tomato DHCP server but the gateway they get assigned is the 192.168.2.1 (the WRT54GL) and not the DSL modem. The DNS server they get assigned is also the 192.168.42.1. How can I change this?

I am only using the wireless of the WRT54GL and not that of the DSL router. For a wireless connection does the gateway have to be the WRT54GL or can it be the DSL router?

I must say that everything works right now but I was thinking I could make things "smoother" somehow. Any ideas?
