Is this possible??? I do not see any WDS settings on the Netgear router, but I know that my WRT54G has WDS settings via HyperRt... Any help for a newbie?
    Thanks!

Hyperwrt_Thibor and dd-wrt also have client bridge to allow them to connect to another AP.

Once I have it connected to the other AP, I cannot use my wrt's router wireless connection while in client mode, correct? So I cannot extend the range of my wireless network this way ?

Correct, in either "client" or "client bridged" the WLAN interface is used so you can't connect to the AP at the same time. Sveasoft talisman has another wireless mode called "repeater" which connects to another AP in client mode but also allows AP access for wireless clients.

Thanks for keeping up on the thread... Does Sveasoft still update it's firmwares? I've been using Hyperwrt for a long while... Is it superior?? Or has Talisman not been updated lately?

Ok, I was trying to find more info, because I was once gonna pay for it, but went after hyperwrt instead. I haven't tried dd-wrt yet though, I might give it a try sometime.
