I have a WRT54G and a WRT54GC. The WRT54G is my main wireless router and it works pretty well, but I still have some dead spots in my home. Can I use the WRT54GC to extend the signal / reach of the WRT54G?

Run an ethernet cable from LAN port on G to LAN port on GC. If you can't run cable then get a couple of PowerLine Network bridge and use household A/C wiring for backbone.

    GC settings:

Set to different static IP on same subnet.
    Turn off DHCP server.
Set to same SSID and encryption
Use channel that is 5 away from channel of other unit

Or just put better antenna on the G.
