Using WRT54GX (v2) as an access point

I currently use my WRT54GX as a router, but my new isp sent me another router. I would rather use it instead of the WRTGX for the routing, because it doesn't use nat, so I get an external ip for each machine. But all my machines are connected trough wireless, so how can I use the WRT54GX as an access point? Do i plug the new router in the wan-port or a lan-port? And how do I configure it?

Try the LAN port and turn off DHCP.

FYI: The Belkin Pren-N V2 has native Access Point mode in firmware.... Not sure if the firmware trck works like on the V1.
