Using WRT55AG with Cisco VPN Client

I have installed a WRT55AG firmware version 1.1 wireless router connected to my cable ISP. I'm able to get internet access fine. Where I'm running into problems is when I try to use the Cisco VPN Client 3.6.1 to connect to my office. I only run into this problem when I use this router. If I use my Netgear (MR314) router Cisco VPN Client works fine. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this problem using Cisco VPN through the WRT55AG router?

Have you checked to make sure the "VPN Passthrough" options (should be on the Security page) are enabled?

I enabled IPSec Passthrough, L2TP Passthrough and PPTP Passthrough. Now Cisco VPN Client connects but then a second later I get the message window "Your VPN connection has been terminated". Any idea why this is happening or how to fix it?

Sorry I don't have a WRT55AG or use the Cisco VPN client so I can't give you much more help than I already have.

The only other things I can suggest are:
    1. Check for updates for your linksys firmware
    2. Check for updates to your VPN client.
    3. Search the Linksys Knowledge Base (For example: link)
    4. Search the Cisco knowledge base for info on you're VPN client.
    5. Contact Linksys or Cisco tech support. (Since Cisco now owns Linksys I image they should support your configuration.)

    Good luck.
