I just noticed that when you click on a MAC address in the Status page, a lookup is done on the vendor code.

So... I am positively salivating a la Pavlov for this new version... any idea when the final will come out? I gotta get my grubby little mitts on it ASAP!

I really dont think you will have any issues using the SP1 release. It is VERY stable - no idea why it is still consdered alpha code

look at www.dd-wrt.com under downloads- untested releases

    Must... resist... temptation...

Hey... did you keep your old settings after the firmware update, restore them from backup, or entered everything in manually after each flash? How is UPnP working on this sucker?

I have not had to restore my settings (hard reset) in some time. If you are upgrading from V23 to one of the SP releases, you should be fine. Do a backup first, if there is a probelm with the upgrade you can always try to restore from the backup first to see if it works, then if all else fails you will have to re-enter your settings

As far as uPnP - I disable that - I do not trust applications changing my router settings. It is a bad protocol and a security risk.

Wow, that IS a nice touch! I'd love to see the same thing for the clients accessing the router. Link it up the same way, only keep the first part hidden like on the display. IMO, that would be better, because then I could tell that I've got a Netgear attached when I know I don't have any Netgear gear, for example.
