I read somewhere that is was not compatible and I tried to login via PPoE via my WRT-54G-TM sadly it doesnt work and my router is useless atm. I was wondering if anyones knows anything about it. Like if its a hardware reason or software; and if theres anyway to use my router. I miss tomato :(

I guess that your vdsl is probably using pppoa and tomato doesn't support that.

I dont think so... I have an Airport Extreme which I used before just to create dualband N and used my tomato router as the gateway. I have my Modem setup to bridge the connection or w.e and my airport extreme signs in via PPoE.

Since so, check out syslog to see if there is some useful information in it.

Certain Telcos run VDSL on a different VLAN - search the forum for more details.
Similarly, certain providers use DHCP instead of PPPoE which would also require a different configuration.
