    hello,
is there a way to install Ventrilo on Tomato ?
I tried to run the linux i386 server on my router, but it doesn't work.

the router is running on a ARM processor, which is non-i386 compatible. if you wish to do tt, either find a alternative binary, or cross-compile it for the ARM architecture (= no guarantees it'll work though

In case anyone else was wondering what Ventrilo was, it seems to be closed source VOIP software.

OpenWRT wiki: the Linksys WRT54G series use several different processors, all of them 32-bit MIPS architecture processors.

Yes, Ventrilo is a VOIP software known in the gaming world, like Teamspeak.
I currently host the server on my computer, but I'd like to move it on the router because I turn off my computer during the night.
So I need to rebuild from the (closed) source code ?

this is really not possible since Ventrillo is closed source and they only give out 32bit linux server which is not compatible with mips2 processor if source code or a Linux Server for mips was available it was doable.
