Victek RAF Release 1.25 mac filtering problem

I am currently using Victek RAF Release 1.25 ND on a Buffalo WHR-G125.
I was previously using Tomato 1.27 ND which was stable as a rock.
The problem I have with the Victek RAF is that "Wireless Client Filter" will not allow listed clients to connect even when selecting "permit only the following clients".
My mac filter list is 60 static DHCP clients.
I have tried enabling ARP binding and setting up an ARP binding list under IP/MAC BW Limiter, but none of the clients can connect by wifi to the Victek RAF router.
They can connect to downstream AP's and can access the internet.
Because I am unable to use MAC filtering it is disabled for now.
I really need the extra features of Victek RAF, but may need to revert to Tomato because of this issue.
    Thanks for any feedback.

I use Tomato_RAF_1.25.8515 ND USB .8 v3 from Thor with my Asus WL500gP. I use notebook and mobile phone through wifi and choice "permit only the following clients" works for me. If you disable wifi MAC filter, is wifi connection possible?

    Thanks for the response.
Yes, if disabled all clients can connect.
But if enabled no clients can connect.

Could you post your Basic/Wireless Filter and IP/MAC BW Limiter settings?

I am running Victek Tomato RAF 1.25.8515.2ND on a WRT54G-TM along with 2 additional AP's in a wired grid set up. With "Permit only the following clients" engaged, it works correctly for me.

I have multiple devices in my list, but not near 60. Maybe try with just 1 or 2 devices to rule out that there is some limitation on the Victek build.

And for the obvious questions, when you loaded Victek, did you do a thorough NVRAM clear after the flash and enter your settings from scratch? You definitely do not want to load a configuration backup from any other version either. Bad juju.

If it's a limitation of 50 (I can't remember what Victek's limit was, but I think this isn't the problem) you might try this compile which definitely has a higher limit set. It is based on the same version so don't need to do anything else, just flash and try. I don't use wireless connection limiter on any AP's, it's of little use here, so I use only Access Restriction, but as far as I know this is an unusual problem that you have.

Kisch, Trademark, and Toastman: thank you for your feedback.

I really am bewildered by this problem with mac filtering.
I did a thorough erase of nvram 4 times to make sure that the re-configuration is not tainted, but the problem persists.

I installed Toastman's firmware and configured from scratch 60+ static dhcp clients and mac filtering list. The problem remains, if mac filtering is enabled NO clients can connect.

My next step is to try "exclusive arp binding" as an alternative to mac filtering.
If that does not work then I will need to revert to standard Tomato firmware.
