video game help router

    Hello, I just got a new computer and im using my Linksys WRT54G router to get internet. Theres this game called Delta force 2 that i like, but it wont let me join or host games, i went to there support site and this is what they gave me.

    I have no idea what to do here, i went to this site
    and tried to folow those steps, there pretty simple but i still cant join and host games, so i probably screwed up somewhere, can any1 help?

    Do you have a distinct ip address set for the machine that's doing the hosting/connecting? If you're using DHCP to get an IP address from the router, it may not be working as you expect it.

    You'll need to set a static IP for the machine your running the game on, and then set the IP in the port forwarding page to that IP. It should work by then.

    for the statics ip, do i set it up with the wireless network? cause if so i did.
    I am using DHCP, and how do u figure out if you have a destict ip.
