VLAN tagging on Asus RT-N12 and setting vlan on two routers.

Hi! I have an Asus RT-N12 D1 Router with Shibby's tomato-K26-1.28.RT-N5x-MIPSR2-116-Max installed and was wondering why the VLAN tagged checkboxes are grayed-out / untickable? Is the router incompatible or do i need to do something else?

Also, Was planning to implement somehow a two router feature that has vlan for guest (under virtual wifi only), my main router (N66u) will handle the connections of private and guest users and the N12 will relay the connections of the first router with two wifi AP's too (one for private, one for guest) via a long ethernet cable that is connected through their lan ports (mine was N66U Lan port 4 to N12 Lan port 4). I'm following this setup http://www.linksysinfo.org/index.php?threads/using-tomato-lan-vlan-on-two-routers.38751/ but I'm short on the tagging procedures since the N12 tagging can't be ticked (but my N66u can), is there any other option/setup to make the N12 provide two WiFi signals where the connections/vlan will be coming from the 1st router (N66u)?

    This is the current setup

    Asus RT-N66U (Shibby's Tomato Firmware 1.28.0000 MIPSR2-115 K26 USB AIO-64K)

    RT-N12 D1 (Shibby's K26-1.28.RT-N5x-MIPSR2-116-Max)

(I'm currently don't have access to the N12 right now, so no screenshot but configs)

br0 stp disabled DHCP Disabled -
br1 stp disabled DHCP Disabled -

    VLAN Page:

    VLAN(1) VID(1) PORT 1, 2, 3, 4 bridge to br0
VLAN(2) VID(2) PORT WAN bridge to WAN
VLAN(3) VID(3) PORT [was to tag 4, if only the checkbox can be selected] bridge to br1

    Private wifi is on br0
    Guest wifi is on br1

the N12 can only get provide either the two (guest or private, depends on what port you assigned first on n66u) but not both, seeing the vlan tagging as the option.
