I have a WRT54GX VER 1 with the latest firmware upgrade that works fine with my Nortel Contivity VPN Client software. Today I purchased a second WRT54GX with VER 2.00.08 and cannot access my VPN. I have IPSEC protocol enabled. Any help would be appreciated as one of these is for my office and the other for my home and I need VPN access at both locations.

I have the same issue with my new WRT54GX. Had no problems using VPN with my old WRT54GS. Version 2 of the WRT54GX, in it's current configuration, apparently does not successfully allow VPN passthrough.

Unfortunately, I think this is a universal problem. See this thread on BroadbandReports.com regarding the VPN issue and the WRT54GX.

It looks like it's going to take a firmware upgrade to resolve the problem.
