    Hi,

I have a Linksys WRT300N(EU) router with Firmware Version: 2.00.17

On my computer i run Windows Vista :) and
    Cisco VPN client Version 4.8.01.0590

When I make a connection without the router the connection is OK.
When I make a connection trough the router I got the following errormessage: Secure VPN Connection terminated by the Client.

It would appear that your WRT300 isn't passing the required protocols for your vpn client. If it worked before with another router but not now, that's the signal that your router is the culprit :(

Try downloading a copy of "link logger" or "wall watcher" to see how the traffic is flowing; this will also allow you to see what protocol the router is trying to use to connect out. Also, have the distant end run a syslog also so they can see what type of protocol is trying to come in.
