    Good morning!

    I am a complete newbie when it comes to VPN. I have purchased an RV042 that I have installed on my company network and am trying to figure out how to get outside clients to establish a vpn tunnel to it. Here is my current network setup:

    internet -> main cisco router (nat/pat/firewall) -> company 10/100 switch -> RV042 -> Back to company switch

    I have then set a rule in the main company router to direct traffic from a specified public IP to the internal IP of the rv042.

    So, here are my questions:

    *I need to have mac os x and windows xp be able to create a connection.
    *Obvioulsy, I need to open a port(s) on the main firewall, but can't figure out what ports I need to open.
    *Third, and most difficult, I don't even know where to begin in trying to get a mac to connect, since there is no quick connect for that...but I have read that people have had success on the net.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    sqe
