    Hello

Is it possible to create a vpn between two AG241s?

I have tried but cannot connect. One is here at home and the other is in a remote office (I have enable remote admin whilst I try to set this up).

    I have the passthroughs disabled
    IPSEC vp tunnel enabled
    subnet home is 192.168.0.0
    subnet office is 192.168.1.0
Local security gateway PVC1 (ppp0) (can't be changed)
remote security gateway ip address (I know it is correct as remote admin)
    encryption disabed
clicking on the connect button brings up a please wait connecting page and the returns with status disconnected.

Anybody got any handy tips or checks?

    Many thanks

    Billy

    Hi Guys,

I'm a total newbie here, and I just noticed your post.

I have 2 x Linksys AG241's, one in the office in Barcelona, and one at home.

I've setup a IPsec VPN tunnel on them, and I'm V E R Y happy with it indeed!

NOTES: I *HAD* to update the firmware on both (Downloaded from ftp.linksys.com) to:

    Firmware Version: 1.00.23

    Office: Static IP
    Home: Dynamic

Setup home box with a dyndns.org account, so the office both accepts a FQDN from the remote security gateway, and the home box accepts the static IP of the office.

Ok, hope this helps some ... now I just need to find what I came looking on this site for... a VPN client for windows I can use for roadwarrior'ing to the Linksys :)

    Ciao
