    I trying to setup a VPN between a RV042 and a BEFVP41. RV042 marks the VPN as connected while BEFVP41 does not. Nothing flows thur the VPN.

    Configuration is as follow:
    - BEFVP41 has static IP
    - RV042 has dynamic IP (initiator)
    - PSK+PSF+3DES+SHA1
    - Main mode

    Phase 1 completes ok. Then comes Phase 2 (quick mode). RV042 sends 1st packet, BEFVP41 replies (2nd packet). RV042 sents 3rd packet and marks the VPN connected. BEFVP41 does not receive 3rd packet and waits for the connection...... :(

    Very strange. Any ideas?

    BTW, does anyone knows how to enable the telnet server on the RV042?

    Thanks in advance!

    Telnet enable (at least on the RV016):

    http://<router IP>/sys_setting1.htm

    RV016 telnet

    I've been trying to get the telnet to work for 2 months now. when I do as the above post indicates (of course putting the IP of the router where it should be) I just get a blank white page. It does prompt me to login but then its just white, no error or anything. Is there another step needed?

    Thanks in advance anyone.

    Re: RV016 telnet

    The following works:

    The following URL will temporarily enable telnet:

    http://[router ip address]/sysinfo123.htm?ConsoleSimulation=1

    The page that comes up is like this:

    SN=DHY005500541
    CPU=Intel IXP425-266
    DRAM=32M
    FLASH=8M
    MAC_BR0=xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx
    MAC_IXP1=xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx
    MAC_IXP2=xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx
    FW_Version=1.3.6.4
    Model_Name=RV042
    Mfg_Status=Support Console Simulation !

    then telnet to the router's ip address and use your admin username and password.

    Full info is in a sticky thread near the top of this forum section: http://www.linksysinfo.org/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=3163 (RV042 Information).
