I am hoping someone can help with my question(s). WRV200 running the lastest beta firmware and 2 Vista Home Premium systems with the latest QuickVPN software. The desktop connects to the VPN without a problem and I can access my files in my office. The laptop, however, hangs on 'verifying netwok' and can not connect. What might be causing the laptop not to connect? Both systems are running the same McAfee suite, both have the latest windows updates, both have the windows firewall turned on. The only obvious 'security' setting that I can see different is that 'windows defender' is turned off on the desktop. The problem is that the verison that is on the laptop can NOT be turned off, and MS help files still are the old ones. Could that cause an issue with the VPN? I plan to look in greater detail later tonight, but i was curious if anyone had some thoughts off the top of their head where else to look for a solution?

    Is it wireless?

I think there is problem with Wireless LAN adapters on Vista ... probably QuickVPN cannot detect WLAN adapters, I have posted some more info in other thread
But I got no reply so far :(

Can you check whether you can connect via Ethernet (wired) LAN from laptop?
