Last night, I made a wireless to ethernet bridge, connecting my WRT54G to another WRT54G via wireless (in client mode) (eth1) and served internet to my LAN via 4 ports of my WRT.

But I could not make another virtual interface (eth1:1 for example) to serve this not from ethernet but from wireless to my lan.

(I'm using Alchemy 1.0 by the way.)

Is this not possible? I mean does WRT have to be either client or ap mode so that if I connect it to another wireless router it will not be able to serve me as a Wireless AP anymore?

I think there should be a way to do this.

You can go deep into command line, though I'm a beginner in wireless, I've lot of experience with Linux and networking..

    Thanks for all answers.
