    Hey there!

    I have Linksys WAG200G router.
    I just installed openwag firmware:
    Firmware Version: 1.01.09-openwag200-12

On my main computer, connected by ethernet cable to the router internet connection is good and stable. I have 2MB/s in download, sometimes 1.9MB/s.
It's stable, no problem at all.

But on my notebook I have maximum 1.0MB/s...and it's just 30cm far from router.
They are on the same desk, so I don't know why this is happening.
My notebook is ASUS X57Vn if this is important.

Im using Windows 7 Proffesional x64 on both computers. They are clean, scanned, and etc. There is no problems.
The fact is, that I noticed that WiFi speed is slower when I installed openwag modification. But when I went back to the official firmware, problem was still there.
Well...Im not 100% sure if this happend after installing modification, but Im 100% sure, that I had easly 1.4MB/s by WiFi connection.

Im not advanced user in wireless connection, I didn't changed anything in router settings.

What can be the problem? Why my WiFi connection is so slow?

    Thx for help in advance.

I did that...hmm...I forgot to mention it...

On original 1.1.09 firmware situtation was the same. I also restored factory settings.
Still the same. It seems like something with laptop maybe? I really don't know what's wrong.
Like I said. Im 100% that speed on my notebook should be faster. Well it should be as fast as on my main computer...
And I don't know if it is even router problem.

Someone said to check Trasmit Rate on my network card, but I don't have my laptop right now, so I can't do that. I don't even know where to look for it :)
