    Hi to all,
i did an nmap -sS -p1-65535 router from the LAN side and I got :

    Not shown: 65525 closed ports
    PORT STATE SERVICE
    22/tcp open ssh
    80/tcp open http
    443/tcp open https
    1863/tcp open unknown
    1864/tcp open unknown
    4443/tcp open unknown
    5190/tcp open aol
    5566/tcp open unknown
    32764/tcp open unknown
    49152/tcp open unknown

    Why are these ports open?

    Firmware Version: A1.01.05-woytekm07

    regards

    i got that:
    80/tcp open http
    443/tcp open https
    1863/tcp open unknown
    1864/tcp open unknown
    4443/tcp open unknown
    5190/tcp open aol
    5566/tcp open unknown
    32764/tcp open unknown

http port needs to be open for admin stuff.
you got telnet and ssh because of the woytekm (you can use telnet/ssh for admin)

i donno why other ports are open.

yes, i consciously enabled ssh. 80 and 443 are normal. but the rest? i still have to check the open ports on WAN side.

a weird thing is that from the WAN side the administration (https) port is different , as set in the configuration

can anybody check the open ports using the original linksys firmware?

    thanks
