Hello, I have been using the WAG200G gateway for about six months. I had bought the Annex B version because I had an ISDN line. Yesterday, I changed internet and phone provider and my line also changed to PSTN. So I am wondering if there is any way to make the device work with my new line. I was trying to upgrade its firmware to Annex A but after it reaches 4% it stops and says that the firmware is not correct for the device... I also tried some custom firmware that I found in these forums, but I got the same message. So is this possible to be solved through custom firmware or I should buy an Annex A version?

Upgrading the firmware wont help, the hardware is different so you will need to buy an Annex A router.

Ok, thanks tazuk. I wasn't sure about that, now it's clear ;)

I would have expected the firmware to load and run, but maybe not work, there is generally only 1 file different - but would expect the hardware transformers etc to be slightly different
