    Hi,
I'm new to all this, can you enable telnet on the WAG300N ?
What does it run is it IOS, Linux or something else.
I've got one and wondered what I can do with it, its working fine at the moment i use it for several PC, audio streaming to Sounbridges and use utorrent, all ok so far, the Belkin 7630 I used to have kept crashing under utorrent and the the wireless signal wasn't as good so streaming mp3.

I see there's nothing in the way or altrenative firm for the WAG300N, anyone working on some ?

    thanks in advance.

Its Linux and there is code to download on the Linksys web/ftp site. No idea how complete, but guess it is similar to WAG200 and WAG54 variants that are. Not seen any enhanced versions but you are not the first to ask!

    Try this :
    http://192.168.1.1/setup.cgi?todo=debug

It activates a utelnetd daemon on the WAG200G and other Linksys models.
After that telnet 192.168.1.1 should be open (Login root / empty password I guess.)

Hope it works with WAG300N !
